The Rugby team achieved the second position in the Inter-University Rugby Championship (Men) organized by Kurukshetra University from January 9 to January 11, 2024. Our college team secured the second position by defeating the team from Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamunanagar, in the tournament.
Pankaj, a first-year B.Sc. Sports student Won Gold Medal
Pankaj, a first-year B.Sc. Sports student won Gold Medal in the All India Inter-University Men’s Boxing Competition held at Chandigarh University, Mohali, from January 1 to January 5, 2024. Playing for Kurukshetra University, Pankaj excelled in the 63.5 kg weight category, outshining 416 boxers from 32 universities across North, South, East, and West zones.
Prachi secured a Gold Medal in the 63-Kilogram Weight Category
Prachi Dhanakad, a first-year B.Sc. Sports student, achieved the title of National Champion at the 7th Elite Women’s National Boxing Championship 2023 held in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, from December 20 to December 27, 2023. Participating in the Haryana team, Prachi secured a gold medal in the 63-kilogram weight category.
Boxer Armaan Ahlawat, a first-year B.Sc. Sports student secured an international gold medal during the Boxing Practice and Competition Camp held in Gavagangju Province
Boxer Armaan Ahlawat, a first-year B.Sc. Sports student secured an international gold medal during the Boxing Practice and Competition Camp held in Gavagangju Province, China, from December 9 to December 25, 2023. He competed in the 80-kilogram weight category against a boxer from Kazakhstan, defeating the opponent and clinching the gold medal. Previously, Armaan Ahlawat also won a silver medal in the Youth National Competition held in Gangtok, Shillong.

College teams won 11 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal. Pankaj Kumar, Armaan Ahlawat, Anil, Deepak, Nidhi, Prachi, Muskan, Ankita Dhull and Neeru Khatri won Gold medals, Uday Singh and Yogesh won Silver medals and Vanshika won Bronze medal.
